prophetic gifts

For my birthday I received two prophetic gifts from our prophetic school.

1. A prophetic gift is something you receive from someone that holds a prophetic meaning. The person prays about what the Lord wants to tell you and then gives a gift according to the word. It can be something little and insignificant but combined with the word, holds great meaning. For instance, say you receive word for someone that he is the salt of the earth and light to the world, the gift might be a salt shaker and a candle.

2. The prophetic school is a teaching session held weekly at our church that teaches about the Gifts of the Spirit, the 5 ministries and things like that. It’s not a school for prophets. A prophet isn’t something you become after completing a course, only God can appoint prophets.

The gifts I received were the following

1. A bunch of black swan feathers

Meaning: truth, honesty, without deception.
This person is sincere, the same on the inside as on the outside.
(Is 53:9 and 1Pet 2:22)
A white swan is white on the outside and dark on the inside, a black swan is dark in and out.

2. Another gift I received was a bead necklace. With pink beads.

Meaning: Pink: the colour of the tribe of Joseph (onyx stone)
Spiritual Meaning: First Love (Rev 2:4; Mark 12:30; 1John 4:19)
It is a reminder to you that Jesus is your First Love. If He remains your first love nothing will be a burden to you.

Promise: It shows that you can expect an increase in physical and/ or spiritual blessings (Gen 30:23, 24)

Emotional: Pink is mostly associated with femininity and romance. It shows that the person is relaxed and affectionate.
It can also point to someone in love and/ or ready for love. It also holds the promise of romance in his/ her life (Duet 8:3)

Symbolic: it is the colour of the tribe of Joseph which means increase or to be added to.

This truly blessed my life.
